Welcome! I’m Omid Asadollah, a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Economics at Florida International University. I am a macroeconomist specializing in the intersection of geopolitical risk, financial markets, and inflation dynamics. My work aims to deepen our understanding of how global uncertainty shapes economic outcomes and to provide insights that support effective monetary and fiscal policymaking.

I am committed to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment in the classroom. My teaching emphasizes analytical rigor, real-world applications, and the development of economic intuition, core skills that help students interpret and navigate today’s evolving global economy.
